DaShaun Amos leaving Grey Cup champs Toronto for Hamilton

ECU football Alum DaShaun Amos is leaving the Grey Cup champion Toronto Argonauts and is signing with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

3DownNation.com reported the news late Thursday. Free agency continues through Sunday. Teams can’t announce any deals until this Tuesday, 3DownNation.com reports.

Amos has played six seasons in the CFL, the last three in Toronto. He broke in with the Calgary Stampeders. He was a West Division All-Star in 2019 and has won three Grey Cups, two with Toronto and one with Calgary.

Hamilton finished 7-11 in the CFL East Division in 2024.

Through 73 career CFL games, the 5-foot-11, 185-pound defensive back has 168 tackles, 16 interceptions, eight special team tackles, one forced fumble and has scored two defensive touchdowns.
