The East Carolina football alum, now playing for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, intercepted a first-quarter pass and returned it 32 yards, stopping a Toronto drive. The Argonauts had scored a touchdown on the game’s first drive.
The pick was the only time after the touchdown that Toronto threatened. Meanwhile, Hamilton got a touchdown, led 24-13 and never looked back in a 51-38 win.
Amos also had two tackles in the win. He signed with Hamilton in the offseason after helping Toronto win the Gray Cup last season. Before Friday’s game, he got his championship ring from Toronto.
