Connor Norby extended his hitting streak to eight straight games after 1-for-3 with two runs and two walks in the Miami Marlins’ 9-8 win over the Colorado Rockies on Tuesday.
Norby doubled and scored in the third inning and walked and scored in the ninth on a homer by Jesús Sánchez to cap a five-run rally.
Norby is tied for the third-longest hit streak to begin a stint with the Marlins in club history.
