Can Norby, McCullough and the Marlins make playoffs this year?

It’s probably next to impossible to think the Miami Marlins could make the postseason.

The team is projected to be one of the bottom three this season in Major League Baseball. A new manager in ECU Baseball Alum Clayton McCullough and fellow ECU Alum and emerging star Connor Norby will have their hands full with a young and emerging program that still has holes to fill.

However, MarlinManiac.com has some options. Call them crazy, but they list the things that could happen to have it fall into place in an always-tough National League East.

While the club will devote most of its playing time to young players and prospects, there is an alternate universe where Miami could press the accelerator and try to compete this season.”
