Now that the regular season is over in college football, the next step is the conference championships and figuring out where teams will head to bowl games.
ECU wrapped up its regular season on Saturday with a 42-3 win over Florida Atlantic. That puts the Pirates at 8-4 on the season.
Bowl games will be announced on Dec. 7, with the first game — the Cricket Celebration Bowl — on Dec. 13 in Atlanta.
ESPN’s Mark Schlabach currently has ECU headed to the Myrtle Beach Bowl to face Georgia Southern on Dec. 19 at noon. Kyle Bonagura has ECU facing Kansas State at 1 p.m. on Jan. 2 in the Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl in Fort Worth, Texas.
