Jake Hunter has found a new home.
The former ECU baseball star and current Fredrick Keys pitcher has signed a deal with the Minnesota Twins. He is in the midst of a great season with the Keys, sporting a 4-0 record with a 2.62 ERA in 13 games, 10 of those starts.

Over 55 innings, he’s given up 45 hits, 16 earned runs, walked 18 and struck out 69. He has a 1.15 WHIP.
At ECU this past season, he was 0-0 in four games with a 4.50 ERA over four innings.
In his most recent outing with the Keys on Aug. 25, he struck out seven over five innings and has 44 second-half strikeouts. He lowered his ERA to 2.32 in the second half, second best among starters, according to MLB Draft League.
