It’s fair to say we were disappointed we couldn’t see East Carolina football alum Keaton Mitchell do more in 2024.
The talented Baltimore Ravens running back was recovering from an ACL injury that happened during his rookie season. The 23-year-old eventually came back to the team and played some, especially during a Christmas Day win over the Texans. However, he finished the season with 30 yards on 15 carries with no touchdowns.
This coming season might be a different story. With Mitchell at or very close to 100%, he could just be the final piece of the puzzle the Ravens need to reach the Super Bowl. Glenn Erby of USA Today’s Ravens Wire thinks he’s one of 10 players who could be most improved in 2025. He wrote in part, “Mitchell will look to get back to full speed after missing much of the season recovering from a knee injury that ended his 2023 campaign.”
