Could Linval Joseph get call to join Ravens?

by | May 9, 2025

Linval Joseph could make it two East Carolina football alumni on the Baltimore Ravens for the 2025-26 season.

According to SI.com, the Ravens may need some help on the defensive line this season. They are high on sixth-round draft pick Aeneas Peebles, but with the retirement of nose tackle Michael Pierce, some depth is needed on that side of the ball.

Enter Joseph? Josh Reed listed five free agents who could fill the void left by Pierce. He listed Joseph as his first option should the team go that direction. If that happens, he would join running back Keaton Mitchell and make it two ECU alumni on the squad.

“Joseph most recently played for the Dallas Cowboys in 2024, appearing in all 17 games in a rotational role in which he didn’t make a start and finished with 19 total tackles including two for a loss, three quarterback hits, two sacks and a forced fumble.”
