We’re sensing a trend here.
East Carolina baseball alum Zach Agnos got his second save in as many chances on Thursday. The Colorado Rockies began a four-game series at San Francisco with a 4-3 win.
OUR BELOVED ROCKIES HAVE A WINNING STREAK!!! Rockies break their 13-game road losing streak in a stadium they had previously lost 12 straight games at! First back-to-back victories since last September. Zach Agnos with his second career save! #Rockies pic.twitter.com/K6TEWx7Mca

Agnos came on in the ninth inning after the Rockies (6-25) scored twice in the eighth to take the lead. He worked a 1-2-3 inning with no hits or walks allowed to sew the win up. LaMonte Wade Jr. and Patrick Bailey each grounded out before Christian Koss flied out to end it.
Trey Yesavage
He picked up his first minor league win in his fifth start.
Yesavage gave up no runs on four hits with eight strikeouts. It was his third straight game with eight or more strikeouts. He fanned 10 in his previous two outings.
For the season, he has a 2.31 ERA in 23.1 innings with 36 strikeouts, eight walks and a 0.90 WHIP. Batters are hitting .163 against him.
Is he ready to be called up to Double-A? That’s the question posed by JaysJournal.com.
Erik Ritchie, another former ECU star, did not have a good outing in relief for Clearwater. He pitched .2 innings, gave up four runs on five hits and walked two.
Carson Whisenhunt
He had a better outing Thursdy than his last one.
This time, he pitched the first seven innings but did not factor in the 3-2 win over Reno. He gave up two runs on six hits with seven strikeouts. The two runs he gave up were solo homers.
He dropped his ERA to 4.50 with the outing.
