Former J.H. Rose High School star Cornell Powell helped the DC Defenders top the St. Louis Battlehawks in Sunday’s game of the last unbeaten teams in the UFL.

Powell had three catches for 21 yards and an acrobatic touchdown in a 27-15 win for the DC Defenders. His touchdown came with the Defenders holding an 18-15 lead with 2:27 left.
