Holton Ahlers, other UFL quarterbacks return after holdout over wages

by | Mar 3, 2025

Holton Ahlers and the other 23 UFL quarterbacks who held out of a preseason camp last week have returned to their respective teams.

Ahlers has a podcast, “The Holton Ahlers Show,” which appears on the Pirate Radio YouTube page. He is also a frequent guest of “Pirate Radio Live.”

FrontOfficeSports.com reports the quarterbacks sat out of the camp due to concerns about pay. The quarterbacks were scheduled to hold the camp in Arlington, Texas last week.

FrontOfficeSports.com reports base salaries were around $55,000 but more was expected after talks on a labor agreement which stretch back to last December.
