Could Zach Agnos’ success early in Spring Training be a sign of him making the team?
BVMSports.com reports the ECU alum and Colorado Rockies relief pitcher “is emerging as a surprising contender during spring training. Transitioning from a successful collegiate infielder to pitcher, Agnos impressed the coaching staff with his four-pitch mix and a competitive spirit. Manager Bud Black praised his mentality and ability to pitch effectively, highlighting the player’s confidence in his pitches and adaptability on the mound.”
Agnos has worked through the Rockies farm system after a successful career at ECU. He recorded a 1.38 ERA and 17 saves overall in the minors last season.
