Trey Yesavage ranked as No. 5 top prospect in Blue Jays system

by | Feb 24, 2025

ECU alum Trey Yesavage hasn’t pitched for the Toronto Blue Jays. However, the minor leaguer is expected to move up the system’s ladder quickly.

BlueJaysNation.com is ranking the top 40 prospects in the organization as Spring Training rolls into high gear. They have Yesavage at No. 5 and say they expect him to make his trip to the big leagues a quick one.

The website writes about him, in part, “The 21-year-old’s fastball sits 93-95 mph with carry while also featuring a plus slider, a plus splitter, and an average curveball with average command. There’s a lot to like about Yesavage, including the fact he’ll be a quick riser in the system and has a high floor.”
