Where could Jeff Hoffman end up in 2025?

by | Jan 9, 2025

Believe it or not, MLB pitchers and catchers begin reporting in around five weeks. That means free agency will wind down soon.

There are several players at nearly every position still available, including ECU alum and relief pitcher Jeff Hoffman. Depending on who you ask, there are several places he could land.

We reported the Braves were a likely destination for the former Philadelphia Phillies reliever with the Cubs as another spot. Another outlet says the Red Sox could add him to their talented bullpen while Baltimore could see him as a starter or reliever.

Time will tell and he’ll certainly get paid either way.
