Michael Vick is in talks to become Norfolk State football head coach, The Virginian Pilot is reporting.
Norfolk State dismissed head coach Dawson Odums on November 26. He compiled a 15-31 record during his four seasons.
Vick was a star football player at Virginia Tech and in the NFL. After the 2006 season, he was suspended to federal charges related to a dog fighting investigation. He was suspended and served time in prison before returning to the NFL with the Eagles in 2009.
