ECU Alum Stanley Bryant will miss Sunday’s game for Winnipeg against Saskatchewan for the Labour Day Classic.
3rdDownNation.com reports it’s the first CFL game he’ll miss since he joined the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 2015. Bryant was taken to the hospital after falling sick during the Bombers’ last game.

“He was sick and that’s why he left the last game. So, we were hopeful things would come around for him and they just didn’t come around quite in time,” Winnipeg coach Mike O’Shea said.
