Connor Norby’s hit streak ends at 10 games in Marlins’ loss Friday

ECU Alum Connor Norby had his 10-game hit streak since he was called up to the majors by the Miami Marlins come to an end in a 3-1 loss to the San Francisco Giants on Friday.

He finished 0-for-4 with three strikeouts. He ended up with the third-longest hitting streak for the Marlins after being called up to the majors, falling three games short of the record held by Juan Pierre and Gary Sheffield.

Before Friday’s game, he was on MLB Tonight.
