ECU Alum Connor Norby finished 1-for-4 with his third home run in the majors and first with the Miami Marlins in 14-2 loss to the Chicago Cubs on Saturday.
He’s now hit safely in his first five games with the Marlins. He also flashed some leather with a great play at third base to get an out.
Christina De Nicola with MLB.com wrote about Norby’s homer and his adjustment to the pro level.
“My expectations for myself are through the roof, and nobody will ever have higher expectations than I do for myself. And you’re just trying to get as close as you can every day, and you’re trying to push the limit,” Norby said.
