East Carolina’s 2026 home opener against Appalachian State, scheduled for Sept. 12 inside Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium, has been set for 12 noon (ET) and will be televised on ESPNU according to an announcement by the American Conference Wednesday afternoon.
The American and its primary television partners have also assigned six other ECU contests that were among its early broadcast selections: at Old Dominion (Sept. 19 at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN+), N.C. Central (4 p.m. ET on ESPN+), at UAB (Oct. 15 at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN/ESPN2), at Memphis (Oct. 22 at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2), South Florida (Nov. 6 at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2) and at Army (Nov. 21 at 12 noon ET on CBSN).
Season ticket orders are currently on sale, with packages starting at just $75 for the six-game home slate at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium this fall. The remainder of East Carolina’s kickoff times will be announced following the finalization of television broadcast schedules.
